Robin meets with each class once a week to engage children in music, singing, expressive movement, instruments, music fundamentals and classical music immersion.
P. Mooney and Friends is provided to the kids throughout the month. It teaches much of the same things as Mr. Rogers did. Ms. Essie our P. Mooney teacher will talk about concepts such as how to be a good friend, acceptance and love, empathy, the power of kindness and compassion, social skills, and life skills. Ms. Essie will teach the appropriate way on how to handle their feelings, even the uncomfortable ones, and how they are real and valid. She does a lot of this through imaginative play, books, songs, videos, puppets, and acting things out.
