The Spring Carnival is CDLC’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s one of our favorite days! Held on the third Saturday of every April, the Carnival brings our families, church, and community together for a day full of games, prizes, food, and fun.
Every dollar raised goes directly back to our kids, funding scholarships for CDLC families and new materials for our classrooms. Your support helps make a high-quality preschool experience possible for every child who walks through our doors.
How You Can Help

Donate to Our Auction
Gift baskets, gift cards, experiences, services, and themed items are always a hit. We collect auction donations all year long.
Donate Prizes
Small toys, treats, and trinkets help make our carnival games extra exciting for the kids.
Make a Monetary Donation
Every gift, big or small, makes a difference for our students and families.

Share Your Business or Talent
Do you own a business or have a special talent? We’d love to have you host a booth! Face painting, balloon animals, crafts, games, entertainment, or showcasing your local business are all wonderful ways to add to the fun and connect with our CDLC families. Please contact us at ContactCDLC@popmn.org.
Donation drop-off: Items and donations can be dropped off at CDLC or at the Prince of Peace front desk. Just let them know it’s for the CDLC Carnival! Checks can be made payable to POP/CDLC with “Carnival” in the memo line. All donations need to be in by April 1st.

Not sure what to give? Here are some ideas that are always a hit. Any donation, big or small, is so appreciated!
Auction Baskets
Family movie night, game night, date night, spa day, coffee lover, backyard BBQ, baking, arts and crafts, book lover, sports fan, or Minnesota-made.
Gift Cards & Experiences
Local restaurants, coffee shops, Target, or Amazon gift cards; passes to the Minnesota Zoo, Children’s Museum, or Science Museum; tickets to the Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, Lynx, or Saints; bowling, mini golf, or trampoline parks.
Services & Handmade Items
Family photo sessions, house cleaning, lawn care, car detailing, music or swim lessons, quilts, woodworking, artwork, or custom signs.
Carnival Prizes
Bubbles, stickers, temporary tattoos, bouncy balls, mini Play-Doh, small plush animals, glow sticks, craft kits, new children’s books, and individually wrapped treats.
Event Supplies
Paper plates, bottled water, juice boxes, or bags of chips.
